You are really at ease with the camera. Is it difficult posing naked?

I am at ease in front of the camera. I really get into my thoughts and let them take me away when I’m shooting. Nudity is great to do because I am so comfortable with my body and I enjoy letting myself go and being free.

What do you do to prepare for a shoot?

Not much. Just shave and shower. A quick workout, maybe a tanning session.

I notice you offer suggestions for shots. Other models I’ve worked with just wait to be told what to do.

Well, Bob, modeling is a creative process. I see myself as an artist and not just a lump of clay. I’ve been on enough shoots to know what works and what will produce a good picture.

How do you respond to seeing yourself once you look at the published layouts?

I either love the shots or hate them. It’s the critic in me.

Now that you have done layouts for both women’s and gay men’s magazines, are you getting more recognized out in public?

Yes it’s been great. For example, I was at the Los Angeles Airport and the gate agent recognized me. It was cool.
