By Josh Pryton
Titties. That is what cartoonist Roscoe says were the first images he began drawing as a small child.

“Big titties,” he clarifies. “I was always drawing for as long as I can remember. Always scratching out something on whatever I could find. Mom had to buy me supplies so I'd stop doodling on the walls.”

Roscoe's subjects now are men and his pens scratch out images of big cocks and plump asses. Sometimes, big cocks in plump asses.

“I want to make sex not so serious,” he says. “But, I still want my art to be erotic. It works. I have fans tell me they jack off to my comics. It makes sense. Much of sex is fantasy and a drawn picture of an impossibly cute or handsome, hung guy can be just as exciting as the real thing. Look at how popular Tom of Finland's work is. He was one of my first inspirations. Today, I like the work of many cartoonists. A little bit of research can turn up lots of books and web sites.”

Trained as a commercial artist, Roscoe worked more than 25 years in the music, film and television industries. In 1993, he decided to try his hand at selling his gaythemed work. When an erotic drawing he placed on eBay
sold for $100, he decided to focus his talents on what he calls “XXX/sexy/fun/funny art.”

Roscoe's work includes illustrations for gay magazines, e-cards, signed prints and commissioned works. More information can be found at gaysketch.com

One of the more fun services he offers is turning a photograph into an illustration. He says: “Guys seem to like having the drawn images made for their partners or boyfriends.”

The latest Roscoe work is the comic book Adventures of Timmy: Just Another American Idol. It is the third in the Timmy series available at Timmy4u.com
